Community Spotlight: New Year’s Resolutions

As we step into 2026, we wanted to take a moment to celebrate the incredible women who make up our community. We asked our members to share their intentions for the year ahead, and the responses were filled with heart, honesty, and hope.

From backyard gardens to finding peace in the quiet moments, here is what our community of moms is striving for this year—in their own words:

“I will include REST as part of my day. Having adequate rest is also being productive. Reminder to myself: ‘May bukas pa…,bukas naman ung iba.’” — Lan Perez

“Will focus more on personal growth and the growth of my backyard plants that gives me extra gulay every morning. Ito pa lang meron ako. Planning to add more fruit-bearing plants. Sustainable gardening this 2026! Char! 😅” — Rhapsody Key Bermejo

“Be more active and healthy. I always take a pause on being active lalo na kapag nagiging koala ang toddler ko. Ang dami kong nagiging dahilan para di matuloy; in the end, narealize kong tinatamad lang siguro talaga ako. But, if I want to be with my son and husband longer, I need to take care of myself also.” — Yganne Evangelista

For 2026, my resolution is to go back to my first love, crocheting.

I used to have a small crochet business before, but I lost interest because of work and the busy season of caring for my baby. Now that I’m a stay‑at‑home mom with two kids, I want to rekindle that passion, not just as a hobby, but also as something that can help us financially.

This year, I’m committing to carve out time for creativity, patience, and handmade joy, while showing my kids that pursuing what you love can also support the family.

“Mas uunahin na ang sarili kesa sa ibang tao na hnd ka naman nkikita as a family. Mas focus pa lalo sa pagaalaga sa family at health nmen.” — Catherine Joy Salcedo

“My New Year’s resolution is to be more intentional in strengthening my relationship with God and with my family. I want to create more space in my heart and in my daily routine to pray, reflect, and truly listen to Him, trusting His guidance in every season of my life. At the same time, I want to be more present…” — Jayline Perez

“My New Year’s resolution is to give back to myself — to take care of my body and my mind. I want to lose weight, feel like myself again, and most of all, be mentally happy. To choose peace over pressure, healing over rushing, and joy without guilt. I’m choosing this path so I can be healthier, lighter in every way, and fully present for my kids. I want more years with them, happier days with them, and a version of me that feels whole again. This is for me — and for them.” — Marielle Reyes Valenzuela

Reading through these resolutions, one thing is clear: our community is entering 2026 with a deep commitment to growth, presence, and self-care. Whether you are planting a garden, picking up a crochet hook, or simply learning to rest, know that you aren’t doing it alone. We are so proud to walk alongside you in this journey of motherhood.
